Indie’s World
Indie’s World is much more than a shelter: it’s a hope for the stray dogs of Mauritius. Since 2017, we have been rescuing, healing, rehabilitating, sterilizing, and finding loving families for these abandoned souls. Without government funding, we rely on the generosity and commitment of our community to give a second chance to those who need it most.

Sterilization
In Mauritius, over 220,000 stray dogs survive in terrible conditions: hunger, disease, mistreatment… A single unsterilized pair of dogs can produce over 4,000 puppies in just four years. The only sustainable solution to end this suffering is sterilization. By sterilizing your dog, you actively contribute to reducing straying and improving animal welfare.
